Utah - Day 2 & 3

SUNDAY

A little hail, then rain, then snow entertained us Sunday afternoon. Natalie wanted to go outside to check out the hail, but she didn't need to...


...Kaleb brought in a bowl of it for her!


Later that evening Kaleb also made snowballs for Natalie to eat. Little did he know that at this exact moment he became her favorite cousin!


Even though snowballs would probably satisfy Natalie's need for a Sunday night treat, the rest of us craved something more substantial - a batch of sugar cookies. Apparently Shaun was eager to start eating them because we found him on the counter top staring at the plate. I even think I might have seen a little drool dripping from his mouth. So cute!


Probably because she was full off of her earlier snowy treat, Natalie could have cared less about the sugar cookies. She just wanted the frosting. I don't blame her - it was delicious!


With lots of toys and treats to share, Shaun and Natalie have really warmed up to each other! I'll have to make sure neither one of them EVER sees this picture!


Natalie also developed a little crush on Kyle, too.

Wait, which one of Amy's boys doesn't Natalie have a crush on?


MONDAY

After some afternoon shopping for Natalie's Spring wardrobe (courtesy of Grandma Narducci [Thanks Grandma!]), the whole family got together for dinner and FHE. We all enjoyed yummy (vegetarian) tortilla soup and a great lesson by Amy, and the kids enjoyed a game of "hide the ring on the string" with Grandpa.


Amy, Kristina and Grandma had fun just watching the kids play.


After the game, Grandpa used the same string to show the kids a super cool magic trick. What a fun Grandpa - all the kids LOVE him!





Look! He put the string back together with his "super sticky spit"! How did he do that???


Before everyone left, Natalie decided all on her own that she finally wanted to hug and kiss my parents! The perfect ending to a really fun day.
