Stephanie Comes to Town

My long-time friend Stephanie (Reay) Wardrop came down from UT this afternoon (work related trip) and stopped by our house to visit us for a few hours. It was so good to see her! Although Natalie thought the character "Stephanie" from "LazyTown" --the girl below with the pink hair--

was going to be our visitor, she warmed up quickly and was soon running around the house showing her all of her toys and talking up a storm. When it was time for her to go (I took her back to her hotel) I put Natalie in her PJs and shot a few parting photos. We tried our hardest to get Natalie to smile and NOT make silly faces, but it didn't work.

How can I expect her to sit nicely for a picture when she has someone playing with her like this!

This was about as close to a posed smile I got from her. Isn't it cute! :)

We then tried to get a picture of the three of us. Natalie didn't want to be a part of it - and, as you can see, she doesn't do what she doesn't want to do !

So we gave up waiting for her and this is what we got.

Funny thing (or not so funny when I think about it), Natalie went on the ride with us to the hotel and when we got back she was fast asleep (that was my big plan) but when I pulled her out of the car she immediately woke up and asked where Stephanie was. She wanted to go back to the hotel and get her (Awww!) but then didn't go back to sleep for another HOUR! This girl loves to stay up late!
