Christmas Eve 2008

Okay, here's the Christmas Eve & Christmas posts you've all been patiently waiting for. Haha!

And of course, what is better than starting off the Christmas celebration with green and red sprinkled Dunkin' Donuts on Christmas Eve morning?

Later in the afternoon, Alisa, Ashleigh and Spencer came to our house to hang out for a bit before we met Lee and his family at our annual Chinese Christmas Eve dinner. Thanks Alisa for smiling!

Yummy, dinner! Kylee and Brenan weren't at dinner with us (boo hoo) because they had to go to some other Jiran family gathering instead - see the kind of things you have to do once you are married!

I know, scary. The camera was on zoom unknowingly but it happens to be the only picture of Spencer I could really get that night. So you'll just have to endure this closeup of my scary-mary face. Could I look any more tired?

A shot of the food, oh, and my brother Lee and Madi.

Why so sad Natalie? Is it because I am finally getting a picture of the three of us together?

After dinner we went to Mike's parents house for the annual Christmas Eve passaround. Mike caught me off-guard. He never picks up the camera but decided to take these pics as we were doing the passaround.

Notice how well Natalie is passing that gift! She got the hang of it right away.

Oops, spoke too soon. Looks like she wants to open that one!

Actually, we packed a special gift for her and had to make a swap once the game was over so she could open the right one. Her favorite, swedish fish.

I mean, Lucas's favorite, swedish fish! He ate half the bag that night - I'm not kidding. He LOVES those. This is his actual reaction when he saw what was in that bag.

After we passed the gifts we went home to prepare for Santa. Here's Natalie accidently dropping the his cookies. Oops!

Sorry, this video is a little dark (when are they not?). It's not that great anyway, but at least it documents the event of putting cookies out for Santa! :)

That looks like a lot of fun. And you do NOT look tired in any of those pics...you look beautiful! I love how careful Natalie was with Santa's cookies. So cute!
