Play Date!

What a great afternoon- spending time with friends and family! Amber, Charla and I organized a play date at Amber's house. With all our children (Natalie, Allie, and the twins Annabelle & Abby) we figured it would be more comfortable to "play" inside until the weather cools down. I also invited Mike's sister, Becca, and baby Lucas to join us. So, we had 5 babies to tend to while we ate our take-out lunch from Gecko Grill. It was fun and very amusing to witness all of us being mommies! It felt like what I can imagine Nursery to feel like...a few moments of chaos mingled with the joy of watching babies interact.

Here's our wonderful host, Amber, and her little girl Allie. Allie is the oldest of the babies. She'll be 2 years old in a few more months!

Here is Charla and Annabelle. Charla had her twins 10 weeks early, each only weighing a little over 2 pounds. Who would have known...they are beautiful, healthy and strong. Way to go Charla! You are a great mom!!!Here is Abby, Annabelle's sister. Abby thoughtfully decided to take a nap so Charla could enjoy herself while only having to care for one baby at a time.

Here is Becca and L2. He was a perfect gentleman with all the ladies around.

As soon as we arrived, Natalie started attacking Allie with hugs and kisses. I tried my hardest to capture it on film...this is as good as it got. It was so cute! I'm glad Natalie is so loving- okay maybe a little pushy with her love, but it's better than the other alternative.

Of course when I wanted to get a picture of us with Becca and L2, Natalie decided she wasn't interested. Oh well...what can you do.
