I was brave one morning and decided to let Natalie feed herself cereal for the first time. She wasn't too sure what to do the the spoon at first.
Then she figured out that it was supposed to go in her mouth.
Then she realized that it was WAY easier and WAY more fun to feed herself using her hands. In the end, it actually wasn't as big of mess as I expected.

I hate that I am not around to hug and kiss that cute mug! It is so crazy how much I miss that age.
That is so sweet! And....terribly brave of you. I'm fighting the moment when she takes over feeding herself.
