Daddy-Daughter Time

Every day when Mike gets home from school he gets to spend at least a 1/2 hour playing with Natalie...and boy does she LOVE it!

The other day we bought Natalie her own slide for the back yard (Thanks Maggie for the great idea!). Natalie wanted to show her dad what a big girl she is.

Looks like they are both too cool for school.

So far the box has been more fun for Natalie than the slide. Mike asked Natalie if she "dared" to go in. Natalie responded, "Only if you go in first!"

What a fun dad! This is a example of one of the MANY reasons why being smaller is better! :)

Natalie is still enjoying her trampoline and loves to be chased around on it.

Really, look at Natalie's face in this picture. I don't think she could be loving this moment any more than what the expression on her face shows.

Thanks Mike for taking a few moments away from your books each day to play with Natalie! I don't think there is anything that makes her more happy than this dedicated playtime with you.

LOVE the "too cool for school" picture. Maggie loves our neighbor's tramp. Too bad our yard is just way too small for one of our own.
The box our slide came in was much more interesting at first for us too.
Hooray for daddies like Mike. Good guys.

I always knew Mike would be a good dad! He has such a great big heart! I think he gets that from Lucas. :-) Seriously, I think you and I pretty much lucked out as far as in-laws go! :-)

The picture of Natalie on the tramp makes me smile!!!! Good dads are worth their weight in gold! Actually, they are priceless. We are both sincerely blessed. Cheesy, but true!...Even think of our own dad, renting boats at Lake Powell, building tree swings, building kites, camping, being Martha Stewart when you visit, taking us on errends and buying those ice cream bars rolled in nuts... and on and on. He is the gold standard for that stuff!

That t-shirt is from our 2007 Memorial Day Weekend getaway we have up at the "Narducci Acres" mountain cabin compound. We get together to clean the stretch of highway that runs by their land that was adopted in memory of Mike's grandpa. It's a pretty cool tradition and even cooler that we get a rad t-shirt out of it! Mike's brother designs them. He's pretty good at it! :)

Yes Amy, our dad was absolutely amazing! I hope Natalie feels about Mike the way I do about my dad! :)

That "too cool for school" picture is hysterical! I can remember when I was growing up and always around the Narducci house playing with Becca, Mike and Nick would always come up with the most fun things to do. They even made a haunted house for us in their room once - so fun. Natalie is a lucky girl to have such a fun dad!
