Retreat - Day 3

We went on a walk this morning down a beautiful leaf covered trail located 5 houses up from Amy's that takes you around their neighborhood. It was beautiful! Besides visiting family, this is what I really wanted to do while I was here.

Here are Shaun and Natalie all bundled up. It was pretty chilly!



At the end of the walk we went to a horse pasture to pet the horses and feed them apples.


Natalie was so interested in them and was actually brave enough to even pet them.


Unfortunately for Natalie we couldn't stay there all day. As soon as we started heading back to the house Natalie turned around in her stroller towards the horses and cried practically the whole way home.


After the walk we got ready to go grocery shopping. Here' s Natalie and Shaun in their hats. As soon as Shaun saw Natalie in her hat, he had to wear one too. They are so freaking cute together. BFF's for sure!


Later that afternoon, at Natalie's request, we went outside to enjoy the cool weather. Natalie LOVES going outside. Here she is with Sasha, her other BFF.


Sasha was so kind and very willing to take our picture.


Amy came out to pick the last few roses on her rose bush. They smelled INCREDIBLE...probably the best roses I have ever smelled - seriously!


Natalie was interested in picking roses, too.

After dinner we had the nightly devotional before the kids went to bed. Here is Kaleb helping Natalie sing "Do As I'm Doing". He is so freaking good with kids. He's hired to come play with Natalie anytime he wants. What a great kid!


Today was awesome! I can't wait to go on another walk tomorrow morning. I'm sure Natalie will be excited, too, because we will stop to see the horses again!
