Lunch Guest

Natalie, for some reason, needs to be entertained during mealtimes, otherwise she's not interested in eating - anything! (Anyone else ever experience this with their kids?)

So, we decided to have Dora over for lunch. She loved it!

Could her smile be any cheesier, or more silly?!

Maggie is the same way--she needs entertainment to eat usually. We solve this with an episode of the Wiggles. I know, I know, tv equals bad...blah, blah, blah.

What a cute idea. I am sure any kid would love to eat with Dora!

I can't tell you how many stupid things I've done to get Hayden to eat. He's getting better now, but I've made up many, many songs, dances, etc... to keep him interested. But Natalie looks like she loved having Dora over. I'm sure more playdates will be in order!

Carlie wants to come over and eat at your house. We have the same problem with Carlie needing entertainment.
FYI - I check out your blog quite often and I am impressed with how wonderfully you document the life of your beautiful daughter. You can just feel the love. You must be an amazing mommy.

Darling. You have a great attitude about parenting. I just let my kids starve or eat frozen blue berries when they won't eat. Little boogers. I might try the t.v. approach... hee hee.

Ethan likes to be entertained as he eats as well, so Roseli usually reads to him. It's either that, or yelling "Ethan, EAT!" Whatever Roseli's in the mood for, I guess.
