Two-Week Catch-Up

Here are some pictures from the past two weeks. I wanted to share them but didn't want to do a separate post on each "activity".

Natalie helped me make cupcakes. She did an awesome job! She even cracked the eggs and didn't get one piece of eggshell in the mix. I was VERY impressed! (Beginners luck?) After they were cooked, we enjoyed them out on the patio. She was pretty excited to be eating her creation.

We went bowling on the night of my birthday. The whole Narducci family showed up. It was a blast! I haven't been to the bowling ally right around the corner from my house and boy have I missed out on some great fun! This place was huge! Couches to lounge on, arcade games, restaurant, you name it, it was there.

Natalie was treated to a few sips (gulps) of my soda. She loves it. I can't blame her, so do I!

At the request of Natalie (Gay-ch), I invited Gage and Bella to play one afternoon. They came at the end of Natalie's nap, so when Natalie woke up she was so excited to see them come into her room. We spent a lot of time in here playing with all of her toys - mostly the ones that make music. This picture also shows off Natalie's bed, the lovely blow-up air mattress that she's sitting on. Silly girl.

Popsicles outside. I told them to pull a silly face for this picture. That just made Natalie laugh.

After playing outside in the heat, they wanted to come in and watch a movie. More treats. Sorry Betina, I'm sure they weren't very hungry for dinner!

Here's Natalie enjoying raw corn on the cob. She loved it!

Becca, Christa (D0-sah, as Natalie calls her) Mike, Natalie and I met up for Gelato. Yummy!

I'm painting my room. FINALLY! I pained it when we first moved in and I think I hated the color choice shortly after that. So, I'm excited to finally start decorating my room - after 6 years!!! I gave Natalie a paintbrush that was pretty dry so she could help me. I asked her what she was painting with and her response was "Chocolate" (the new color is very dark brown). Hilarious.

During the summer we get a ton of Cicadas. They make the loudest buzzing sound that sounds eerily similar to electricity. We found one out on the patio the other night and Mike caught it so we could play with it. Natalie became pretty attached to this bug. She had a really hard time letting it go "back to its family".

Natalie and Hayden should go on a date and eat raw corn - he loves it too!

P.S. in response to the comment you left on our blog, I was going to ask you if you remembered helping at our wedding! Who would've thought 5 years later you'd be one of my best blogging buddies :)
