Faces

Natalie has been drawing up a storm lately. Her favorite subject - faces. She amazes me at some of the stuff she draws. A couple of nights ago, just before bed, she decided to pick up one of her whiteboard markers and drew some pretty cool faces. I had to run as fast as I could to get my camera before she erased them - a very easy (and fun) thing to do on a whiteboard.

"Mommy"

"Daddy"

I don't know if this one was supposed to be someone but she first drew the head.

Then added these legs.

And then added some more legs and called it an octopus. You can barely see it on the far right of the whiteboard.

A couple of other things to point out in the above picture. Natalie draws with both her right and left hands. No rhyme or reason on when she picks one over the other - she chose her left hand tonight. And of course, how could you miss that sweet double chin! It happens to be one of the spots she is most ticklish. I think I'll go tickle her chin right now. Oh wait, it's 1:15 am. That would be mean.

What on EARTH are you doing up so late?!?

She's got serious artistic talents! Do they have toddler art classes in your area?

Every child is a Picasso or di Vinci. Just ask Beverly Porter. She saved everything Vaughn ever touched!

Although, she does have great skill! I love it. And the double chin that's is to die for!
