Waterlogged

Natalie started out her day with a dip in the hot tub. Who doesn't love hot water on a nice hot day? (Hot being relative - it was in the low 70s today compared to the 90s+ in AZ.)


Her Papa and cousin Lucas came to see what we were up to. Isn't this picture so sweet? And it was even taken with my phone!


After the hot tub we got ready to head to the beach. We had to wait for the tide to go down a bit so we had some sand to play on. It was worth the wait. Natalie had a blast playing in the sand and with Aunt Shalyce's mom in the ocean. Her cousins Madison and Lucas joined her, too.

Later this evening, just before sunset, we went out front for a little bike ride. I brought my good camera to see if I could get a few shots of Natalie and the beautiful surroundings.


Natalie's Uncle Nick also came out at the same time, although he brought out his really good camera. I guess he wanted to snap a few shots of the dozen or more surfers catching waves right out in front of our condo. I wish I had a surf board, I think I would have tried to catch a few waves myself.




Following Nick, we rode my longboard just a few pushes down the road to the lifeguard station where even more surfing was taking place.


When we got there Natalie spotted some girls showering off and decided she wanted to join them. I warned her that the water was cold but that didn't stop her one bit. She promptly ripped off her shirt and joined them for a cold shower.








The girls left but Natalie still wanted to play in the water.


Uncle Nick saw her and came by to take a few pictures of her as well.

"Burrrr, I'm cold!"

Oh the life of a water baby. Any chance to get wet and she'll take it! I look forward to going to the beach with her again tomorrow. We'll sure miss it when we're home.
