Oceanside - Days 9 & 10

SATURDAY:

I've decided to start a morning routine while we are here. When Natalie wakes up in the morning we hit the beach for about a 1/2 hour. That way we can get some sand and ocean time in and THEN start the day. I really enjoy this time with Natalie.

I showed her how to bury her feet. She thought it was pretty cool.

The rest of the day was spent shopping (we got some really cute things!), but it was mostly spent anticipating Mike's arrival that night. His flight landed at 7:45 pm and Natalie and I took the 40 minute drive to pick him it. It was so cute to see Natalie find Mike walking to us from pretty far away. She was so excited - waving, smiling, and saying Daddy as he approached us. I think I was doing the same. It was a good night.

SUNDAY:

We didn't do the beach this morning (way to break the routine!) so Natalie helped me blog.

After trying to get my Sea World blog to post - stupid videos not uploading - we got ready for and went to church. It was fun to go to the same ward for the second week. It felt almost like we belonged to that ward! :)

After church everyone did their own thing, and my own thing was to catch some rays on the patio. Here's the view from the patio. Awesome.

Yah baby!

Mike and Natalie's "own thing" was to just hang out on the bed. Looks as fun as laying out to me! But maybe that's because it's my husband and my daughter. :)

We finished the night off with some ice cream and some singing.

This is one of Natalie's new favorite songs. "Someone's in the kitchen with Dina, ...", "Fe Fi Fiddl-E I Oh, Fe Fi Fiddl-E I Oh, oh, oh, oh, Fe Fi Fiddl-E I Ohhhhh" (notice her mouth at this part) "Strummin' on the old banjo!" Of course when I'm not filming, she sings the words better and the "ohhh" part makes you laugh she does it so well - so hopefully this little clip will give you a glimpse into how freaking cute Natalie is and how much she LOVES to sing!

That's a really cute video of Natalie singing "Someone's in the kitchen with Dina". You guys do a pretty good job of singing it as well. :)
