We're on our way to Oceanside, CA in just a few hours. I've been packing all night while Mike and Natalie have been sleeping. The plan is to drive there in the wee hours of the morning - so Natalie can sleep for most of the 6 hour drive. Since Mike has been sleeping, he'll do most of the driving while Natalie and I snooze! We'll see how well this plan will work, but I think it might be alright!
This vacation is courtesy of Luke & Sally. They've rented a beach house and depending on work schedules people will be flying back and forth (mainly on the weekends). Mike is helping me drive out and will stay until Sunday night. Then he won't be back until the following Friday! We will really miss him! I haven't been away from home more than a week at a time, so I imagine I will get homesick at one point, too! Boo-hoo, I know.
Anyway, I'll be updating the blog frequently with photos of us hanging out on the beach, shopping, eating, reading, playing games, napping, etc... We'll also hit Sea World on one of the days while Mike is with us. I know Natalie will LOVE it! :)

Wow - have fun! Can't wait to see pictures. And make sure and let us know how Natalie likes Sea World - we've been dying to take Hayden!
Wow, living on the beach for a few weeks! How fun for you guys. FYI, at Sea World you can buy a year-round ticket for the same price as a one-day pass in case you plan to go more than once while you're here.
Sounds fun! YOu guys will have a blast. My boys crave different scenery (plus mom is usually more lax on vacation) so I'm sure Natalie will have a blast!
Looks fantastic! Funny--while in Vegas, Patrick's parents were trying to convince us to go to Oceanside. They have some time share dealio.
